  • Michele Moneyhun
    DVM
    Medical Director

    Dr. Michele Moneyhun is a native of Northern Virginia. She received her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and DVM from Michigan State University. Dr. Moneyhun shares her home with her husband, two handsome pit bull mixes named Frank and Leroy, and an exuberant guinea pig named Charlie. All of her pets are rescues from local animal shelters. Dr. Moneyhun has a strong interest in exotic animal medicine and surgery, and has experience with several species of birds, reptiles, and small mammals, as well as pot-bellied pigs. Outside of work, Dr. Moneyhun enjoys spending time with her pups and husband, hiking through the country’s national parks, running, and baking.

  • Rachel Bunn
    DVM
    Associate Veterinarian

    Dr. Rachel Bunn is from Richmond VA (born and raised) and completed her veterinary training at Virginia Tech (VMCVM). She decided she wanted a change of pace and so has lived in the South Side of Pittsburgh for the last year. At first she worked at a large practice, seeing both regular appointments and emergency visits. But when she heard that City Vets was opening to serve the South Side, she couldn’t wait to jump on board! Rachel has two cats of her own- a Siberian cat named Liesel from a private, responsible breeder; and Otter, a long-haired kitty who was rescued from under a porch at 2 weeks of age and hand-raised along with his 3 brothers, who are with loving families of their own now. Aside from working with your cats and dogs and spending time with her own, Rachel enjoys hiking, camping, and rock-climbing. 

  • Sean Lawson DVM
    Associate Veterinarian

    Dr. Sean Lawson grew up in Evergreen, Colorado. He received a Masters of Anatomy and Neurobiology and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in 2005. Upon graduation from he practiced at a high volume referral hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada with an emphasis in surgery. His area of professional interest include small animal dentistry, preventive health and soft tissue surgery. Doctor Lawson went on to act as Medical Director at VCA Littleton Animal Hospital for 5 years. Doctor Lawson and his wife Melissa share their home with a 5 year old chihuahua named Mia Hamm, a kitten named Olive and son named Elias. In his free time he enjoys mountain biking, fly fishing, camping and restoring a 1960’s Airstream travel trailer.
